Light & Movement Shoot – Critique

12th VL Zoom 22-23 Feb 21 Virtual Lesson Assignment

Favorite 2 from peers)

Martin Meyer

I had scrolled through Martin’s work and saw this. Though it’s simplistic, it’s beautiful. It’s creative and reading how he did it inspired me to become more creative with my work.

Moriah Djannie

This is a beautiful photo from Moriah, I love how creatively artistic it is. Again, simplistic like Martin’s but a story can be told in so many different ways and it’s really left up to the interpretation of the viewer – which I love.

Favorite Of Mine)

This is my favorite photo from the shoot, I am very happy with how it turned out. The LEDs and the candle light with the sparkles of fairy lights compliment each other so well, I’m impressed with myself.

  • Wowza! Thoughtful comments on your classmates work… and I am sooo impressed with this image. It has striking color and shows great energy playing with the technique of shutter. It is playful and bold and has a lot of rythym and movment to it re: the lines and patterns of the light. It is a strong composition with the main yellow & red (flame?) off to the left bottom. LOVE this!
