Erik Johansson

I love the ability Erik Johansson has to make me question reality. All of his artwork is gorgeous, and detailed, and realistic. I find myself spending a lot of time looking closely at the image to see what and where things have been photoshopped in. His images are seamless. I love the colors he uses, and the constant nature themes, I have noticed the constant nature vs manmade theme in his work.

Robert Rauschenberg

I adore the color Robert Rauschenberg uses in his work. In this image specifically, there is an impressive balance of colorful chaos, and details that the viewer can makeout with their eyes. In this image I can see a home, pictures, maybe even a washing machine. The colorful chaos speaks heavily to me, and I love picking out suggested details in an image where they are not prominent.
